Brno - fountain on Jakubské náměstí

Since autumn 2007, a sandstone reservoir in the shape of a bird fountain with statuettes of a snake and a bird in the form of gargoyles, from which water gushes, has been built on the site of a former well from the 14th century in the eastern part of Jakubské náměstí. Around the well, today rather a fountain, lies a glass ring through which you can see into the depths of the original well, which is about 10 meters deep.
