The botanical garden of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Ostrava acts as an oasis of calm in the middle of the city. It is located just a few minutes by car from the center of Ostrava. I went to the Botanical Garden to the Citrus Exhibition by bus from Orlová, so I got off at the Ostrava Hranečník stop and went along Slívová Street, which climbs slightly up a hill immediately after the stop. I was there in 5 minutes.
