Bokuš (Chvalkovice)
This settlement, which originally bore the name Buschhäuser and later Bokausch, was founded by Count František A. Špork as a hunting pastime at the eastern end of his estate near Velká Bukovina, where he often traveled from his seat on the Kuksa (pictured in the attached period engraving). However, in some materials it is written that the first mention of Bokouš dates back to 1476. So what was there before...
