Bohumín - Skrečoň, monument to 104 Poles

The city of Bohumín has seven parts. I went to the cemetery in Skřečon and there is a monument to 104 Poles who perished in Bohumín in the forced labor camp in Polenlagr in the years 1942-44. The monument was made in 1967-8 and is the work of Ing. architect Bronislav Firla. It is a group of three partially worked quarry blocks made of Silesian granite.
