Point of military triangulation from the years 1862-98 at Nové Pleso

The point of military triangulation, which looks like a monument from a distance, is located near the airport near the village of Nový Ples. It is one of the three Points of military triangulation that took place in the years 1862-98. This Point, as well as two others, were built in 1863, they are called Points of Josefovská base. The surveyors had their headquarters in the Josefovská Fortress.
