New Ball
The history of the village of Nový Ples is relatively short, the current village was founded around 1782. The original village of Ples was already known in the 12th century, but Emperor Josef II had the Josefov Fortress built in its place in 1780. The inhabitants of the village therefore lived in close connection with the fortress. Today in the village by the road we find a bell tower with a crucifixion monument.
