Muddy pond

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
Before 1897, it used to be the only water reservoir in the Jizera Mountains. It was built on the Blatná stream in 1780. A manor house, the so-called upper sawmill, stood by the pond, later it was rented out to private owners (until 1920). After 1920, the waters of Blatné rybník powered only a dynamo, which supplied electricity for the hunting lodge in Nová Louka.
