Minor Basilica of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Frýdek

According to the judgment of many experts, the building is a masterpiece, and to this day it is the largest and probably the most beautiful church building in Northern Moravia.
The laying of the foundation stone for the building is dated October 4, 1740. Although the construction of the temple continued rapidly, it was stopped during the reign of Maria Theresa and was completed completely without towers until 1759.
On May 13, 1759, the building was ceremoniously consecrated.
