Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows in Frýdek
In Frýdek on Dolní street, with one wall on Na Blatnice, it stands near the former city walls under the church of St. John the Baptist, a small house with a sanctum sanctorum. It is a former hospital (epidemiological) chapel built for the needs of the neighboring house, where from 1718 there used to be an almshouse built for these purposes. It was built by Pavlína Anna and Rozálie Cecílie, daughters of Frýdek rector Matěj Kassewius.…
