Bastion in Semtěš
The Bašta Gothic fortress is the dominant feature of the Semtěš village. Its origin is dated to the first half of the 14th century. From the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, the fortress fell into disrepair and was gradually dismantled for building material. In the end, only tiny remains of the fortress and a massive tower remained. It was converted into a Forge in the 18th century. It was abandoned only after the Second World War.
