The current church, a landmark of the town of Kojetín, was built in 1687-1692 at the initiative of the owner of the Tovačov estate, Count Ferdinand Julius of Salm-Neuberg. In the years 1748-52, a reconstruction was carried out, which had burned down in previous years and was subsequently damaged by a storm. Since the aforementioned reconstruction, the church has kept its current form. The church is 41,7 m long and 24,6 m wide with chapels.…
