The premises of the Mikulov castle

 
In places where the sunlit slopes of Pálava fall to the Austrian border, the fairytale silhouette of the castle stands out on the last rocky hill, reminiscent of a royal crown when viewed from afar. The extensive castle complex (together with the garden, 250 meters long and 150 meters wide) is one of the main landmarks of the beautiful South Moravian city.
