The amateur cave is the largest and longest cave system in the Czech Republic. Together with other adjacent caves (Nová Rasovna, Piková dáma, Spirálka, 13 C, Punkevní, Sloupsko-šošůvské caves), they form a single unit with a length of over 35 km. It was created by submerged streams - the Sloup River and the White Water. In the area of ​​the cave system, there is a mutual confluence and the formation of the well-known river Punkva.
