Alcazar
The former Alkazar limestone quarry is located in the Berounka valley between Beroun and Serbia. It is a wall-level quarry. Mining took place here in the first half of the 20th century, a narrow-gauge railway led from here towards Beroun. The quarry has a system of underground tunnels, some of which were used to store radioactive waste in the 50s and are therefore closed with concrete barriers.
