L'ancienne mine Jindřich I a été fouillée en 1854-57. À l'époque, c'était la mine la plus rentable du district. En 1887, la plus grande usine de criblage de charbon du pays a été construite ici, elle a été électrifiée en 1909, la dernière modernisation a eu lieu en 1955.
