Belfry at the Svýcárna

A bell tower has been decorating the area in front of the Švýcárná cottage on the southern slope of Malé Děd in Jeseníky for some time now. The bell can be used for orientation in the mountains in bad weather (fog) and thus help more lost tourists. A similar structure is said to have once stood near the cottage, although we cannot find anything like it on most historical photographs. (there should be a picture in the Jesenice archive, but there is an obvious explanation in the gallery)
