The bell tower was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. It was part of the fortified area of ​​the church of St. Nicholas, who thus provided protection to local residents from the enemy. The ground floor of the bell tower led to the cemetery surrounded by a high stone wall. The bell tower was damaged during the Thirty Years' War. It underwent several baroque modifications.
