Establishment of the railway station in Káranice

The Austrian North-West Railway started building a railway line from Chlumec nad Cidlinou to Hradec Králové in 1873. Its surveying and preliminary work was an extremely complex task, because at first its route was not clearly determined, so it was measured several times, in different directions.
