The ruins of Zásadek above the Jizera River

This is a well-kept place and certainly unjustly neglected. But it has its advantage. The visitor here does not go easy.
 
Originally, a Gothic castle stood here, which was built in the 14th century. This was later (probably after 1560) rebuilt into a two-winged and two-story Renaissance castle.
 
It burned down in 1790, then began to deteriorate, and so two partially buried rooms in…
