The ruins of Krašov Castle
Since the 13th century, Krašov Castle has stood on a rocky promontory above the Berounka River. It was built by lords from Krašov, then it was owned by the Kolovrats, and in the second half of the 17th century it became the property of the Plask monastery. When the monastery was abolished in 1785, the castle began to deteriorate very quickly, and since 1800 it has been listed as a ruin. The castle, which has been taken care of by the association for the protection of nature for ninety years...
