The ruins of Hamrštejn Castle

We will visit the ruins of Hamrštejn Castle, a short distance from Liberec. Hamrštejn Castle was built in the first half of the 1th century. on the highest point of a rocky promontory surrounded by the Lužická Nisa on three sides. It mainly protected trade routes to Žitava.
