Znojmo - Way of the Cross

It is located on the steep rocky slope of Gránický údolí on the western edge of the city. The path of the Way of the Cross climbs serpentines around fourteen pilgrimage chapels from the bottom of the Gránice stream valley to the church of St. Anthony of Padua. It has been standing here for almost three centuries. It was built at the time of the then prominent builder Tomáš Sclessin (1653-1675). Recently, it has been expensively restored.
