Znojmo - former Municipal Power Station
The first really large-capacity power plant was built by the city in 1903 directly under the Znojmo Castle. It was a hydroelectric plant housed in a tasteful Neo-Renaissance building, where a twin Francis turbine of 50 horsepower was installed.
