Znojmo dam

It is located on the river Dyja on the outskirts of Znojmo. Its bulk dam is 26 m high, the water surface is 54 ha, the length of the embankment is 5,5 km and the maximum depth is 13,4 m. It serves as a leveling reservoir for the Vranovská dam, and is also used for water supply and irrigation. The whole is located in the Podyjí National Park.
