Winter pond
The winter pond belongs to a pond system made up of a total of ten ponds. These ponds are closely adjacent to each other and form one continuous unit near the village of Polanka nad Odrou, Ostrava region, Moravian-Silesian region. This pond system is part of the Poodří PLA. The winter pond and together with it the ponds Velký Vaček, Malý Vaček and Kačírek also belong to the Polanská Niva National Nature Reserve.
