We can convince ourselves of the romance of the rock formations in the vicinity of the famous Sloup rock castle even in winter. A good starting point is the parking lot at the well-known guesthouse Zámeček in Svojkov. Opposite it, on a fenced plot, there are the remains of the small rock castle Starý Svojkov.
We look for a red tourist sign in front of the guesthouse and start to climb the Praying Mine, which is enclosed by sandstone rock blocks. After…
