Grinding mill from Zhůr

The place is quiet. Perhaps only gusts of wind, the timid chirping of a bird or the distant echo of a car engine from the road on the nearby Slučí Tahu disturb the magnificent peace of this place. However, this was not always the case.
It lived here some 60 years ago. Not only in nearby Nové Hůrec and Stará Hůrec, but also in Zhůří, about 4 kilometers away. People lived their often difficult lives here.…
