Žerotín - chapel on the hill

Žerotín Hill with the Chapel of the Virgin Mary is a place of costumed pilgrimages, with a wooden cross on top. The chapel was built in 1947 by furrier Jan Hrdý as a thank you for his son's recovery. The chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it was consecrated in 1949 by dr. Martin Mikulka, professor of religion in Uherské Hradiště. The distance from Strážnice is approximately 5,3 km.
