The Železnobrod belfry standing by the church of St. James the Greater is unique in its static solution of wooden construction. One web supports the suspended bells, the other the cladding of the belfry. In this way, shocks caused by the activity of the bells are not transmitted. This original solution for its time was designed by master mason Johann Georg Volkert.
