Želenice is located between the villages of Knovíz and Třebusice in Slánsko. Around 200 inhabitants live here. It is dominated by the Romanesque church of St. Jacob the Greater. It stands in the middle of a small cemetery surrounded by a high wall together with an ancient wooden bell tower.
