Žďárec - church of St. Peter and Paul

The local church of St. Petra and Pavla is located in the lower part of the village in the romantic valley of the river Libochovka near the road to Rojetín. Its creation dates back to the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. He was therefore a contemporary of the nearby Židár fortress Hrádek. In 1794, it underwent a late Baroque reconstruction, when a prismatic tower was added to the nave of the church. The parish here disappeared during the Thirty Years' War and was not restored until 1763...
