Velké Meziříčí Castle
The founding of Meziříč Castle is surrounded by a number of legends and myths. However, according to tangible evidence, the original castle in Meziříčí was founded in the first half of the 13th century near the confluence of two rivers - Oslava and Balinka. The first documented owners were the Lomničtí from Meziříčí, from whom the castle was acquired in 1399 by a prominent man of the time - Mr. Lacek from Kravař.
