Castle (Brewery) Monastery Hradiště nad Jizerou

Originally, a Cistercian abbey was located here, which was founded as early as the 12th century. The flourishing and expansion, including the construction of the Cistercian monastery, lasted until the period of the Hussite Wars. In 1556, the estate was divided into two parts. On one of them, the son of Jiří Labouňský from Laboun began to build a castle in the Renaissance style. But only his son completed the construction.
