Nový Hrad Castle in Jimlín

The new castle rises above the village of Jimlín, it was built in the 14th century by the knight Záviš from Jimlín. It was originally a stone fortress. It was not until 1453, when Jimlín was inherited by Albrecht Bezdružický from Kolovrat, that the reconstruction of the fortress into a magnificent castle began.
