Castle Nachod
Kosmas already knew about the promontory on the Metuje valley. Hron from the Načeratic family used the favorable location on the regional trade route from Čecg to Kladsk to establish a castle and a town at the southern foot of the promontory in the 13th century. His descendants stayed here until 1321, when it was acquired by the Czech king John of Luxembourg.
