Lány Castle - castle park
The castle park is located in the immediate vicinity of Lánské Castle, today the summer residence of the presidents of the Czech Republic. The foundation of the park was created in 1785, when the economic manager MG Stumpf built a small arboretum and rosarium around the castle. It was only after the liquidation of the local ramparts and moat in the middle of the 19th century that in 1852 under Prince Karel Egon II. from Fürstenberk started building an English park...
