Komorní Hrádek Castle

One of the local parts of Chocerady is Komorní Hrádek. It is located on a high, wooded hill above the left bank of the Sázava River, south of the named village. Looking into the past, we learn that the original castle was founded by the Benešovic family. This was sometime in the late 13th or early 14th century.
