Kamenice Castle is located 20 km southeast of Prague in the district of PrahA - East in the south of the town of Kamenice. In the Middle Ages, Kamenice was a royal estate with a fortress that stood on the site of today's Kamenice castle. The foundation of the fortress itself is not historically documented.
