Jemniště
Jemniště castle is located near Benešov. The history of the castle dates back to 1381. At that time, however, it was not a castle, but a fortress, surrounded by water, and the property was in the hands of Beneš from Cimburk. He sold the estate to another owner in 1717, who had a castle built on a nearby hill according to the design of the Czech architect František Maxmilián Kaňka.
