The corners of the village of Ublo near Zlín

The village of Ublo with 260 inhabitants is located 6 km NE of Vizovice in the nature park Vizovické vrchy, 19 km east of Zlín. It was inhabited already in the Bronze Age. A wooden ax with a sleeve was found here, dug up in the Valňský field, under an ancient pear tree. Today, the ax is kept in the Olomouc museum.
