Záhornice - chapel of the Mother of God
The first mention of the village of Záhornice dates from 1680, when the village is listed in the parish registers of Prépyš. The chapel was founded in 1866 and 1867 by Mr. Václav Novák, who had it built at his own expense on his plot No. 65. He donated the chapel to the village in 1880 when new land records were established.
