A popular excursion place all year round - the ZOO in Olomouc is located on the northern edge of Svaté Kopeček, in the beautiful forests of the southern spur of Nízké Jeseník. Together with the pilgrimage area, it forms the most visited excursion spot in the city. The ZOO in Olomouc was opened in 1956.
