Behind the water towers to Chrasti

  We are going to admire two beautiful water towers and pay tribute to their builders. We are traveling to Chrasti near Chrudim. We can use the train (Chrast is on the Pardubice-Havlíčkův Brod line), but the station is a 20-minute walk from the center, or on weekdays a bus from Pardubice or Chrudim. The older waterworks dates from 1662 and was built by the first bishop of Hradec Králové, Matouš Sobek from Bilenberk. Construction…
