From Velká Úpa to Sněžka

It is ideal to park your car in the parking lot opposite the Hela Hotel in Velká Úpa. Right at the beginning comes the first more demanding part of the hike, namely the journey to the Portášky mountain hut. According to the advice of a local native, it is best to go directly under the cable car. In the very first kilometer of the route, there is an elevation gain of 350 meters.
