From Prlov to Syrákov - (via Vartovna)

  We end our walk through the village of Prlov at a farm with free-roaming poultry. Now we have a shorter climb following the yellow sign up to the deforested ridge and the Pod Širokou fork. But it seems that my wife and I will not be going there alone. We still have the peacock "hound and his besties" on our heels - I don't understand what the beautifully colored handsome guy actually sees in such an ugly hen! Only after an emphatically shouted "Kshaaaa kshaaaa" does she leave…
