The goal of our trip is one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the Šumava foothills, the Nativity of the Virgin Mary church. It has been an important place of pilgrimage for centuries. Originally, a Romanesque sanctuary stood here, of which only the prismatic tower survived after the Baroque modifications. The church is first mentioned in 1369.
