From the history of mills in Malšovice
The left side of Malšovice, today's Hradec Králové district, used to be surrounded by a wide drive, near which there were 2 mills - a brick one and a wooden one. A brick mill, which was called America, based on the machinery, stood on the right bank, and a wooden one, which was called Na pila, would have been found on the opposite bank, while the two mills were connected over the raft by a narrow wooden bridge, which was called Lavičky.
