Annín is one of the most interesting places located in the Otava River valley. Gold has been mined here since ancient times, but the origin of Annín dates back much later. Despite its short duration, the village won several firsts. The glass factory founded in 1796 was the first in Austria-Hungary to start producing decorated rose glass.
