Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou is a small town located in the southeastern tip of the Znojmo district in the South Moravian region. It is located 26 km east of Znojmo, 5 km from the border with Austria, on the Jevišovce river near its mouth into the Dyje. Approximately 3 inhabitants live here. It is the center of the Hrušovansko regional area, which has a total of 300 municipalities.
