The Ronova cone (552 m above sea level) is located in the western part of the Ralská upland. Its favorable location was used by the Berks from Dubá to establish a castle. The first mention is from 1429. Then it belonged to the knight Vilém of Illburk until 1554. Mr. Vilém was centuries ahead of his time. Although he stood for years on the side of King Jiří of Poděbrady, he then switched to the unity of Zelenorá and supported the election of Matyáš as Czech king. Bad…
